Our Position

Egg Scripts hosts listings submitted by our team and by community members. We do not claim ownership of third party code posted by users. If content on this site infringes your copyright, we will remove it promptly once we receive a valid notice.

Before You File

To help us act faster, please make sure that:

  • You are the copyright owner, or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
  • You have identified the exact page URL on eggscripts.com, not just the site homepage.
  • The use is not covered by permission, an open source licence, or fair use.

How to Submit a Takedown Notice

Send your notice through our contact page with the subject line “DMCA Takedown”. A valid notice must include all of the following:

  • Your full legal name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  • A clear description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
  • The exact URL or URLs on eggscripts.com where the material appears.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices cannot be processed. Knowingly filing a false claim may expose you to liability.

What Happens Next

  • We acknowledge valid notices, normally within 2 business days.
  • Content that is clearly infringing is removed or disabled, usually within 5 business days.
  • We notify the user who posted the content and pass on your notice.
  • Repeat infringers have their accounts terminated.

Counter Notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter notice through the same contact page. It must include your contact details, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court, and your signature.

Non-Copyright Removal Requests

We also accept removal requests that are not copyright related, for example content that is malicious, contains personal information, or violates our Terms of Service. Use the contact page and describe the problem with the specific URL.

Game Developers

If you are a game developer and want listings related to your game removed, contact us with proof of ownership and the relevant URLs. We review these requests case by case and cooperate wherever a legitimate claim is made.
